Infrared Photographs of Farm Animals living at Farm Animal Sanctuaries

In infrared photography, the film or image sensor used is sensitive to infrared light, which the human eye doesn't see. The photos have a surreal look to them, with foliage turning white an other strange effects.

I began experimenting with Kodak B&W infrared film for some of my animal sanctuary photographs in the early aughts. At the time is was a tedious process, the film canister could not be exposed to light and focusing the camera was tricky because the IR wavelengths are longer than what the eye sees. Nowadays I have a Sony A6300 digital camera converted to shoot infrared (by Lifepixel), so I am doing it more.
